Jahlena Clare was the third child born to Nelson and Audrey Guerra. She was born on a chilly November night after hours of intense labor and her parents were instantly smitten with their newborn daughter. Her older siblings, however, took a little longer to warm up to the latest addition of the Guerra household. They did eventually warm up to the little girl and after so long the three siblings were as thick as theives. The Guerra family was as normal as normal could be. Nelson worked as a surgeon and Audrey was a psychologist - both very demanding jobs and yet, somehow, the two of them managed to successfully raise their children and be very hands-on and attentive parents. Jahlena and her siblings never needed for anything. Their parents made sure they had everything they needed and the children never went without.
Throught her school career, Jahlena was more popular than not. She wasn't at the top of the food chain, but her outgoing personality and friendly nature made her very well known and liked among her peers. Not only that, but her older siblings had put the Guerra name on the map and it was rare that someone didn't know Jahlena or her siblings. She was involved in extracirricular activities, as well. Outside of school, she participated in dance from a young age and when she got older she volunteered at the local Boys & Girls Club. During middle and high school, participated in the drama club and student studen council. In order to participate in those extracirricular activities Jahlena had to keep her grades up, of course, but she always put her school work on the back burner. She managed to get by with B's, although she would bring in an occasional C.
The girl graduated with problem, ranking somewhere in the middle of her class. Her love of children is what caused her to enroll in NYU Steinhardt's Early Childhood Education program. Jahlena found herself in a situation during her second semester of college. She was pregnant. It wasn't something she had planned on, but she felt the only option she ahd was to keep the child and raise it. The guy she was dating didn't stick around, but she couldn't bring herself to have an abortion or even opt for adoption. However, when she was around 21 weeks along she suffered a miscarriage. She had come around to the idea of having a child and was heartbroken, but another, very small part of her, was relieved. She countined with school and after receiving her degree, Jahlena began working at a daycare until the summer of 2014. August 2014 marked the beginning of her job at Dows Lane Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.
All in all, Jahlena leads a very calm life and she likes it that way. Her life has never been particularly interesting and that is something that she's always been okay with. She makes her own adventures and keeps her life interesting without going over the top. She has no complaints about her life at the moment, but she's still excited to see what her future holds.

• Jahlena is a cat person through and through. Although she loves all animals but is partial to cats and owns two: Jasmine and Aladdin, named after the characters of her favorite Disney movie.

• On that same wave, she is a Disney fanatic. She doesn't believe anyone is ever too old for Disney. She even has a Minnie Mouse tattoo.

• Her miscarriage is not something she speaks of. The only people who even know about it are her closest family and friends, and it is not a topic that comes up often.

• She is very close to her entire family. Unlike a lot of girls, she tells her mother everything, as well as her sister. She doesn't confide as much in her brother and father but is still very close to them.

• English is her first language but she also speaks Spanish, as it's a language both of her parents speak and they taught her and her siblings when they were growing up. However, she only speaks it when she's talking to her family, particularly her mother and father.
